Her words capture the essence of the Mondo track’s impact: “The track is fast, it kind of came up on me a bit, and I wasn’t expecting it to be that fast, but it feels good.” McLaughlin-Levrone broke her own world record and clinched the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles, proving that this track is where champions are crowned.
